Meet Dr. Witoon

Experienced. Ethical. Patient-Focused.

Dr. Witoon Wisuthseriwong has practised cosmetic and plastic surgery in Bangkok and Chiang Mai for over forty years.

He has taught plastic surgery at Chiang Mai University since 1971, and holds registrations with Thai and international surgical bodies. Alongside private practice he has served as a volunteer surgeon with the Thai Red Cross, Operation Smile and the Duang-Kaew Foundation.

Consultations are unhurried by design. Whether a procedure is appropriate — and whether any procedure is appropriate at all — is decided through individual medical assessment, with the alternatives, risks and realistic recovery set out before anything is agreed.

Your consultation journey

From Enquiry to Informed, Personalised Care

Every stage is designed so that you understand what is being proposed before you commit to anything. You are encouraged to take time, ask questions and seek a second opinion.

  1. Enquire

Send an enquiry describing what you are considering. No medical history is needed at this stage.

  2. Initial consultation

An in-person or remote first discussion of your goals, history and the options available.

  3. Personalised plan

If surgery is appropriate, a plan is discussed with its risks, alternatives and realistic outcomes.

  4. Scheduling

Dates, pre-operative requirements and written consent are arranged once you have had time to consider.

  5. Recovery support

Written aftercare guidance, and a route to contact the clinic if you have concerns.

  6. Follow-up care

Review appointments to check healing and assess the result as it settles.

Enquiring is not the same as being accepted for surgery. Whether any procedure is appropriate for you is determined by professional medical assessment, and a consultation may conclude that surgery is not advisable or that a non-surgical option is preferable.

Planning a Consultation From Abroad

If you are enquiring from outside Thailand, the practical questions are usually about sequence and follow-up. These are the points worth settling early.

  • Send an initial enquiry remotely before making any travel arrangements.
  • Share relevant medical history and current medication when asked to do so, through a secure channel.
  • Discuss whether an in-person consultation is required before a procedure can be scheduled.
  • Agree how follow-up will be handled once you return home, before you commit to travel.
  • Consultations are available in English and Thai.
  • Ask what to do, and who to contact, if a complication occurs after you have travelled home.

Recommended length of stay, timing of travel clearance and any assistance with accommodation or transfers are discussed individually — please ask when you enquire, as they depend on the procedure and on your own circumstances.

Start Your Journey With Confidence

Tell us what you are considering. A private consultation is an opportunity to discuss your goals, your medical suitability, the alternatives available to you, the risks involved and what recovery would realistically require.

All surgery carries risk. An enquiry is not a commitment to treatment and is not acceptance for surgery: suitability and outcomes vary between individuals and are determined by individual medical assessment.
