PROMINENT EARS OR EAR PINNING (OTOPLASTY) IN THAILAND

Dr Witoon is a national board-certified plastic surgeon who has performed otoplasty in Thailand for over 40 years. His clinics are located in central Bangkok and Chiangmai.

Prominent ears can be set back closer to the head or reduced in size in case of large ears.

Patients will be sedated and under local aneathesia. An incision is made along the crease behind the ear. The prominent cartilage is corrected and/or pinned back, and all sutures are underneath the skin and self-absorbable.
